Dolphins Sign Fourth Round Pick Joe ToledoThe Miami Dolphins today signed offensive lineman Joe Toledo, their fourth-round draft choice this year, to a four-year contract. Toledo, 23, was a four-year letterwinner at Washington, where he started 23 of the 32 games in which he played. The Encinitas, Calif. native shifted to tackle prior to his senior year after playing tight end during his first three seasons. He started six games there last year, three each at left and right tackle, before an ankle injury forced him to miss the final five games. The 6-5, 330-pound Toledo attended La Costa Canyon High School in Carlsbad, Calif., where he earned All-American honors.
